Description:
CVICU experience is required.
Travelers are allowed one call out per contract.
If there is a second call out, proper documentation is needed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Weekly orientation is available.
The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2.
Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, and Sepsis.
Additional cases include CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
Intermediate care unit experience may be required as a primary RN on an as-needed basis.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Dress code includes any color scrubs.
