Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Manage medical ICU patients with common diagnoses such as respiratory failure, renal failure, and sepsis
• Handle chronic ventilators and chronic trachs
• Manage hemodynamically unstable patients
• Perform trach care, chest tube management, and start PIVs
• Administer and titrate drips to HR and BP
• Monitor and manage invasive lines
• Assist with bedside procedures
• Oversee patients on ventilator support

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certification required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
