Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,246 per week in Newark, NY

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: New York license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Charge experience highly preferred Description: Must have New York license in hand. ICU RN role with every other weekend requirements. Floating may be required. Patient ratio is 2-3. First-time travelers may be considered. Candidates must reside within a specified radius. Charge experience is preferred. Candidates must possess certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Skills required include arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care and management, and continuous IV sedation. Employees should be experienced in managing dysrhythmias and performing phlebotomy. Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory. Previous experience in a medical intensive care unit is preferred. Weekly census averages around 7 patients. Unit staffed with interdisciplinary support services. Candidates should be prepared to float as needed.
