Description:
The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
You will supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
Critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment are essential in this position.
Your responsibilities will include collecting relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situations.
You will analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
A plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes will need to be developed by you.
Care delivery will be implemented based on the plan, promoting health and ensuring a safe environment.
Progress toward attaining outcomes will need to be evaluated regularly.
Outcomes for patients' situations will be identified as part of your responsibilities.
Collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers is crucial in providing care in a safe and humane environment.
You will provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
Health information will be directly provided to patients and families.
Participation in discharge planning is necessary to ensure continuity of care.
Duties will be delegated appropriately while coordinating with other healthcare team members.
Additional job-related duties may be assigned as needed.
