Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of RN ICU experience License: MA License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Physical ability to meet job responsibilities - Basic computer proficiency - Telemetry experience Description: In this role, you will deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in the Intensive Care Unit. You will assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients. Communication with various health care team members, patients, and their families is essential. You will coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues. Updating and managing patient records will be part of your responsibilities. You will enter and interpret computerized data and information. Following guidelines and policies established by the nursing department is required. You will assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects. You must have the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. A tele test will be required on day one.
