Start Date: November 2, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, night shift, every other weekend required
Highlights:
Specialized Cardiac Medical ICU with 30-bed unit managing complex cardiac conditions including ACS, acute MI, cardiogenic shock, and TAVR patients
Patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on acuity
EPIC charting system used facility-wide
36 hours of orientation provided
Advanced equipment experience including IABP, Impella, CRRT, and ventilator management
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
EPIC charting system proficiency required
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
Proficiency in IV start and telemetry experience
Demonstrated competency with ventilator management
Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed
Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required upon contract signing
Key Clinical Skills:
Arterial line management and interpretation of ABGs
Central line care and PICC line management
Blood product administration and continuous IV sedation
BiPAP/CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula management
Care of ventilated patients and suctioning techniques
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
Experience with IABP and Impella devices preferred
CVVHD/CRRT experience preferred
