Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN ICU experience with multispecialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT) License: MA License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification Must-Have: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to meet job responsibilities. Basic computer proficiency. Telemetry experience required. Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Supported by a collaborative and dedicated nursing team, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest quality care to your patients. Ensure patients receive the attention and expertise they deserve. Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients. Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families. Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records. Enter and interpret computerized data/information. Follow guidelines and policies established by the nursing department. Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.
