Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,275 per week in Bay City, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ Years of ICU Experience License: Michigan Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Comfortable with Floating to ED and Step down Description: Collaborates with physicians to provide a plan of care that will return patients to optimal health. Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders. Delegates to and oversees nursing assistant functions. Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of care plans. Assumes a leadership role by integrating evidence-based knowledge into practice. Facilitates and participates in patient conferences. Identifies and addresses ongoing patient education and discharge needs. Seeks educational opportunities for professional growth. Teaches and guides professional and ancillary personnel. Precepts and mentors new employees and students. Functions as a team leader to ensure proper patient placement and assignments. Communicates relevant information effectively. Demonstrates organizational skills through effective planning. IMPORTANT: A strict attendance policy is in effect. Absences, late arrivals, or leaving shifts early without prior approval may result in attendance strikes. Three strikes may lead to immediate termination from the assignment. Extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
