Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Manage ventilators and perform ABG interpretation
Titrate vasoactive drips
Conduct hemodynamic monitoring
Perform intubations and central line placements
Assist with bronchs, bedside trach, and peg tube placements
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
RN License
ACLS and BLS certifications
Proficiency in vent management and hemodynamic monitoring
