Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,281 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CCRN, ENPC preferred Must-Have: Experience with adult populations Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience in Burn ICU or Pediatric Trauma ICU preferred Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Burn and Pediatric Trauma ICU. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-acuity care to patients in the ICU setting. Ratios for patient care will be 1:1 to 1:3. Weekend availability is required, with every other weekend expected. Floating to other ICUs is necessary to meet facility needs. Travelers will be assigned patients appropriate to their skill level. A test for proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management will be required. Charting will be performed using the Epic system. The environment supports interdisciplinary teamwork, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The primary patient population includes both burn and pediatric trauma patients, with secondary populations being trauma surgical and medical cardiac ICU patients. Special equipment utilized within the unit includes various IV pumps, sensors for monitoring, and rapid infuser systems. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork in a high-pressure environment.
