Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,282 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, night shift; minimum every other weekend; contract must extend through January 2, 2027

Highlights:

• Float to multiple ICU settings based on staffing needs and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, CVICU, and more
• Work with diverse patient populations including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart) and complex critical care cases
• EPIC charting system utilized across all units
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity based on facility policy
• Access to advanced equipment and procedures including ventilator management, external ventricular drains, and hemodynamic monitoring

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license accepted)
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
• Experience with arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, and cardiac drip management
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
