Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current strong Surgical ICU experience License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Critical Care Certification, trauma course, EPIC experience preferred Description: The Surgical ICU is a 20-bed adult unit. It serves a diverse patient population. Patients include those post-surgery and those requiring intensive care. Surgical procedures include ENT, GI, trauma, ortho/neuro spine, and general surgery. Float as needed to areas with similar skill sets. Candidates should have the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality of care. Flexibility in adapting to changing patient needs and unit demands is required.
