Job Title: ICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of recent ICU experience License: Must have a valid state nursing license in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Recent ICU experience - Ability to work full 12-hour shifts - Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation Description: The position requires an ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience. Candidates must possess a valid state nursing license. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required for this role. Nurses will be responsible for managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Key skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients, and management of arterial and central lines. Nurses will need to demonstrate proficiency in interpreting telemetry strips and provide appropriate clinical interventions for arrhythmias. This role includes working with a variety of equipment and following strict isolation precautions. All requests for time off must be submitted initially and cannot be adjusted after the offer. Successful candidates will be expected to coordinate with peers to ensure adequate coverage. Nurses should prepare to orient efficiently on their first day while dressed in scrubs.
