Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,300 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts with every-other-weekend rotation. Contract must extend through January 2, 2027.

Highlights:

• Float across multiple intensive care units including Neuro ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics
• Advanced critical care experience with complex patient populations including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart)
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Float policy ensures assignments to units of equivalent or lower acuity level
• Opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and advanced critical care protocols
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Experience with arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, and cardiac drips
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
• COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
