Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,300 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours/week) | Weekend nights Friday/Saturday plus 1 additional night shift per week

Contract Length: All contracts must extend through January 2, 2027

Highlights:

• Float to a diverse range of critical care units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, CVICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics based on staffing needs and patient acuity
• Work with an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Exposure to advanced procedures including transplants (kidney, liver, lung, heart), ventilator management, and specialty ICU care
• EPIC charting system used facility-wide
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity to support organizational needs
• Weekend night schedule offering work-life balance during weekdays

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (hardstop requirement)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
• Travel nursing experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership)
• Must complete fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing; strict compliance deadlines apply
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
