Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 12-hour night shifts; schedule posted 4 weeks in advance; weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per pay period (weekend nights typically Fri-Sat); every-other-week (eow) night rotation; float rotation to PCU/MST/EC ICU/PCU as needed

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity critical care nursing for ICU/CVICU/PCU patients, including post-op cardiac and COVID patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips; act decisively on dysrhythmias and STEMI/PCI events
- Manage ventilators, assist with troubleshooting and weaning, and support intubations using Glidescope adjuncts
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and apply findings to ventilator and medication adjustments
- Titrate vasoactive drips, sedatives, paralytics and other critical care infusions safely and per protocol
- Care for invasive devices: arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tubes, EVDs, and post-op surgical drains
- Operate and collaborate on CRRT (Prismaflex), IABP, Impella and VAD care when indicated
- Serve in rapid response and code blue teams as needed; provide leadership support when acting as charge
