Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,305 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: High Acuity Float Pool - ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Valid WA or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Prior floating experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in a High Acuity Float Pool, primarily in ICU. Candidates must possess EPIC and previous float experience. The nurse will provide care across various units, including critical care, medical surgical, and telemetry. Assignments will vary based on patient acuity with standard staffing ratios maintained. Common diagnoses and patient types will include medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac patients. Experience in titrating IV drips, including Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, and others, is required. Charge nurses do not take assignments and will assist in assignments creation and overall unit management. Nurses will utilize specified monitoring equipment and must be proficient in reading cardiac strips. Self-scheduling is allowed, and three weekend shifts are required each schedule. Holiday work is also a requirement. There is no call or standby requirement for this position. Unit assignments will be created by the charge nurse daily. Appropriate dress code must be adhered to, with scrub colors specified. Additional unit-specific training will be provided. The organization reserves the right to cancel shifts during the assignment based on operational needs.
