TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 5 years in critical care, with experience in various ICU settings License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.) Telemetry test required prior to start Basic Arrhythmia experience required Competency in accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, and ventilator management Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is interested in critical care nursing. The role involves working 12-hour shifts during the day with a rotation that includes weekends and holidays. The candidate must have extensive experience in various critical care specialties. A strong background in adult ICU patients is required. Responsibilities will include managing high-acuity patients across different units. The successful candidate will engage in a team-oriented environment and will be part of a supportive and educational setting. Candidates should possess skills such as managing sedation, blood product administration, and care for ventilated patients. The position may require floating to different critical care areas as needed. A telemetry exam will be mandatory. The passing criteria for the telemetry exam includes identification of lethal rhythms and understanding of advanced cardiac concepts.
