Job Description
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, assess vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Manage and monitor ICU equipment and assist with critical care procedures as needed.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety requirements.
