Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,340 per week in Las Vegas, NV

**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN in the MICU!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN – MICU - **Schedule:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM - **Commitment:** 13 Weeks - **Location:** Las Vegas, NV **Unit Information:** - **Total ICU Beds:** 47 (23 MICU, 12 CVT, 12 Neuroscience) - **Staffing Ratio:** 2:1 (Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters) - **Type of Staff:** All RN staff on both shifts - **Patient Ratios:** 2:1 - **Equipment:** Sports beds, GE monitors, CRRT, ventilators, Alaris pumps - **EMR:** Meditech **Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have:** - Successful completion of critical care course - Familiarity with ventilators, proficient in EKGs, understanding of vasopressor and titration - **Preferred:** - 2 years of previous ICU experience - Flexibility and ability to work under stress **Typical Procedures:** - Intubations - Line placements - Titration of vasoactive drips - Thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy **Personality Fit:** - High energy - Excellent time management - Flexible and reliable **Required Certifications:** - Current NV license - BLS - ACLS **Floating Areas:** - IMC - ED to care for IMC and ICU holds - All Intensive Care Units **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal blue (no hoodies) **Weekends and On Call:** - Every other weekend - Seldom asked to take call **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
