Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,385 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 20-26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Must have 3 years of critical care experience, including recent ICU experience within the last year. Level 1 Trauma Center experience is required. License: Current nursing license is required. Certifications: BCLS ACLS (TNCC preferred) Must-Have: Candidates must submit RTO prior to submission for facility consideration. References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge nurse. Strong ICU experience is necessary; first-timers will not be accepted. Candidates are expected to float to all critical care units as needed. Description: This position requires flexibility to work in multiple critical care units. Candidates must work 2 of 3 holidays, and RTO restrictions apply. Skills required include management of vents, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation. Preferred skills include ICP and PA line management. Candidates must be proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; a test will be administered. Academic or teaching facility experience is necessary. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations. Candidates should be well-rounded ICU nurses with experience in MICU, Neuro ICU, or trauma. Additional skills include arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Candidates will be expected to report to procedures with cardiac monitoring. Staffing includes a patient ratio of 1:1-2 for critical care and 1:4 for bordered/observation holding areas. Weekend shifts are required. Compliance with institutional protocols is mandatory.
