Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,398 per week in West Burlington, IA

Job Title: RN Critical Care/ICU-CCU Profession: RN Critical Care/ICU-CCU Specialty: RN Critical Care/ICU-CCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC EMR experience within the last 12 months in a like unit required Description: The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of the assignment. Passing this test is mandatory to work in the critical care unit. Delivers care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates care with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to adult patients with cardiac issues, stroke, vascular interventions, and hemodynamic monitoring. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required. While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. GRH CPI/MOAB certification is also required.
