Must-Have:
- EPIC EMR experience within the last 12 months in a similar unit required
- Basic Dysrhythmia test must be passed in order to work in ICU-CCU units
Description:
Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance.
A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of the assignment.
This test must be passed in order to work in the ICU.
Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Provides care in coordination with other health team members.
Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and health team members.
Maintains high standards of professional nursing.
Provides high-quality care to adult cardiac/telemetry patients.
Handles stroke and vascular intervention patients.
Manages hemodynamic monitoring.
Estimated workweek is 36 hours.
Every other weekend rotation is required.
Every other holiday rotation is required.
The traveler may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census.
If called in, the traveler is expected to arrive on-site within one hour.
