Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Arterial line management
- Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood Product Administration
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Management of dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Surgery and trauma patient management
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Active ACLS & BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- EPIC charting system experience
- Ability to float to all ICU floors as needed
