This travel nurse position requires providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU that focuses on cardiothoracic and cardiovascular post-operative care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU)

Provide care to critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic and cardiovascular patients
Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Assist with advanced cardiac life support and arrythmia intervention
Oversee pacemaker/ICD and ventricular assist device management
Utilize CRRT and ECMO technologies

Requirements of the RN - Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU)

PA or Compact License required
ACLS & BLS certifications necessary
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
EPIC charting experience required
