Staffing will require a 1:2 patient ratio during the shift. The unit manages a daily census of approximately 14 patients. A variety of critical care skills are needed. Charting will be done using Epic. Preferred experience includes community and trauma center environments. Nurses will be expected to assist with various procedures. Candidates should possess knowledge of ventilator management and critical care protocols. Skills in administering blood products and managing central lines are crucial. Experience in neuro-intensive care is a plus. Collaborative support from interdisciplinary teams will be part of the role.
