Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Corvallis, Oregon. This role involves providing direct, specialized care to acutely and critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems.
The Intensive Care Unit is a dynamic environment that demands advanced clinical knowledge and experience. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for intensive monitoring, comprehensive assessments, and implementing critical interventions to stabilize and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to acutely and critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit.
Perform continuous and intensive patient monitoring, including vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and neurological status.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and re-assessments, identifying changes in patient condition and initiating appropriate interventions.
Administer medications, manage intravenous therapies, and operate specialized medical equipment relevant to critical care.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Respond to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts as required.
Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and thoroughly.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and provide emotional support.
Required Qualifications
Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing).
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of previous Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
