Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,416 per week in Tyler, TX

The shift is 3x12 days with block scheduling. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Previous experience in travel nursing is preferred. Experience with charting in Epic is required. Patient ratios are 1:2. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. The unit typically cares for adults and geriatric patients. Daily census averages around 14 patients. Patient diagnoses include a variety of medical-surgical conditions. The unit is equipped with advanced technologies and specialized equipment. Skills required include managing ventilators, central lines, and arterial lines. The nurse will perform procedures such as chest tube management, phlebotomy, and monitoring of critical patients. Candidates who have experience in trauma units and with chronic or acute renal failure will be preferred. The nurse must demonstrate infection prevention and management of patients with multi-system organ failure. All candidates must comply with onboarding requirements within the stipulated timeframe.
