Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU- Provide care for patients on ventilators, temporary pacemakers, and balloon pumps
- Titrate various medications, including Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, and insulin
- Participate in team conferences during day shifts
- Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team, including PT/OT and rehabilitation staff
- Adhere to patient safety standards and infection control protocols
Requirements of the RN - ICU- Active IL license or confirmation of application process
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NIH preferred
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, including ventilator management
