Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,452 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Experience with patient ratios of 2 Experience with Epic charting system preferred Description: 36 or 48-hour option available. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Weekends are required. Floating may be required as needed. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile local radius. Staffing includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Patient diagnoses may include ARDS, sepsis, congestive heart failure, overdose, post-operative complications, DKA, and GI bleeds. Special procedures performed include CRRT and high-risk surgical care. Skills required include management of arterial lines, ventilator management, central line care, and phlebotomy. Candidates should be proficient in managing complex patient populations with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Each traveler will receive a brief orientation on the unit. Travelers are expected to float to similar units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Compliance with mandatory requirements is expected prior to assignment.
