Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Chicago, IL. This role involves working in a high-acuity environment within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU- Provide critical care to ICU patients, including surgical/trauma and complex abdominal surgery cases
- Manage neuro cases such as ICP, EVD, and brain bleeds
- Perform trach, ventilator, and Bipap management
- Handle chest tubes, arterial lines, and swan-ganz catheters
- Administer vasopressor and sedation/analgesia titration
- Operate CRRT (Prismaflex) and manage cardiovascular complications
- Perform insulin drips, wound vac, and balloon pump and impella operations
- Conduct TR band and sheath removal
Requirements of the RN - ICU- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 4 years of ICU experience
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system
- Experience with Alaris IV Pumps and Phillip Monitors
- CCRN certification preferred
