Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Manage patient care in a lower acuity ICU setting
Read and interpret cardiac and respiratory monitoring strips
Handle ventilators, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and line management
Perform proning and provide bedside telemonitoring
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, RTs, and hospitalists

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
2-3 years of ICU experience
Experience with EPIC charting system
