Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel- Provide care for patients across a range of medical conditions including cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and GI systems
- Manage post-operative patients and those undergoing substance abuse withdrawal
- Perform procedures such as managing A-lines, central lines, intubations, and chest tubes
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Utilize EPIC for all charting and patient record management
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- NY state license (in hand) is required
- Experience in Medical, Neuro, and Surgical Intensive Care Units
