Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,519 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in ICU required License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: LTAC experience preferred Neuro experience needed Description: This position is within a LTAC unit. 36 hours or 48 hours available. 2 years of ICU experience needed. Nights required. On call support after 5 PM daily and weekends. Call is rotated among 6 to 8 staff members. Modified time frame for availability. Orientation consists of 16 hours. Staff will work in both ICU and Med-Surg settings. Daily census averages 35 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Staff will float to different units as required due to census. All staff must demonstrate competencies for tasks performed in floating situations.
