Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN for the Intensive Care Unit in Rochester, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a neurosurgical unit. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU- Provide care for patients with brain tumors, spinal malformations, neuroendovascular conditions, and epilepsy surgery.
- Perform Q1 neuro checks, manage EVDs, lumbar drains, and subdural drains.
- Administer 3% NS, Cardene drips, and manage arterial lines.
- Assist with carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coiling/clips, DBS insertion, VP shunts, and seizure management.
Requirements of the RN - ICU- MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE/PCU EXPERIENCE
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
- Telemetry Experience Required
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) Years Experience
- NIHSS REQUIRED
