Experience with accessing and managing ports and arterial lines is essential. Candidates should be skilled in blood product administration and care of ventilated patients. Understanding of various critical care protocols is necessary. Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and manage dysrhythmias is required. The candidate will be responsible for medication administration and monitoring. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. The position involves managing a daily census of up to 6 patients. Weekend shifts are expected every other weekend. Compliance with infection prevention protocols is essential.
