COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
Description:
Responsible for providing care in a Burn Intensive Care Unit.
Ability to float to other facilities as needed.
Demonstrated skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients.
Knowledge in continuous IV sedation and infection prevention.
Capable of interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
Experience in phlebotomy and procedural sedation administration/monitoring.
Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs and suctioning.
Daily patient ratio: 2 patients per nurse.
Age groups served include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support available from physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more.
Daily census is approximately 10 patients.
Unit equipped for specialized burn care procedures.
Modules included as part of the training, to be completed prior to start.
