  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Schedule: 3x12
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay: $2630 to $2830
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients with complex medical, surgical, and trauma-related conditions
  • Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other life-saving treatments as prescribed
  • Operate and monitor advanced critical care equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
  • Recognize and respond rapidly to medical emergencies and changes in patient status
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and ICU care standards
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting patients and their families during critical illness
Requirements
  • Active California RN License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Current ACLS Certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred
  • Experience with ventilator management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, vasoactive medications, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional critical care nursing
