Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit – Minnesota

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Minnesota

Schedule: Every weekend; no call required

Highlights:

• Provide holistic care across the lifespan including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults
• Work in a collaborative ICU environment with potential float opportunities to other ICUs and medical-surgical units based on staffing needs
• Utilize Epic EMR system for comprehensive patient documentation and care coordination
• Engage in independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions with focus on standards of excellence
• Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac patients including fresh open heart surgery cases

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license (temporary license accepted if permanent license application is in process)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Adult and geriatric population experience required
• Experience with fresh open heart surgery patients preferred
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills preferred
• Experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) pertinent to specialty required
• Two supervisory references with employment dates required
