Job Title: ICU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 8 or 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 38 or 48 hrs Experience: 2 years in a specialty in an acute care setting License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Description: ICU RN for an observation unit in a fast-paced environment. The unit has changing patient acuity levels. Nurses may be required to float to other areas of competency. Staff will work in a 28-bed inpatient observation unit. The patient population includes medical beds and trauma overflow beds. Patients range from lower to higher acuity, including mid holds. Holidays are an expectation.
