Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Float Pool – Wisconsin
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour rotations (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend required, some holidays. Block scheduling likely available to accommodate preferences. Patient ratio of 3:1.

- High-acuity patient population with exposure to advanced critical care equipment and procedures

Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum 5 years of critical care nursing experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Demonstrated competency in multiple ICU specialty areas (Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MICU)
- Epic charting system experience required
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation skills and ability to pass mandatory telemetry exam prior to start (80% passing score; 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms required)
- Advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, CRRT, arterial line management, central line care, and hemodynamic monitoring
- NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
