Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,708 per week in Charlottesville, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a critical care setting, including charge experience. License: Virginia license pending accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. TNCC and CCRN preferred. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Travel experience required. Description: Registered Nurse in the Supplemental Resource Office ICU. Floating to various ICU and intermediate care units. Units may include Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU, Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, and others. Must work nights, with options of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. Must adhere to floating policy as needed. Candidate must have experience in care of ventilated patients and management of dysrhythmias. Additional skills include procedural sedation administration and monitoring, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and ICP monitoring. Orientation may involve specialty-specific modules. Candidates must be able to float within their scope of practice. Ideal applicants will have a BSN, although this is preferred, not required.
