This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, with potential to float to Med/Surg Tele units as needed. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU- Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer and monitor patient responses to medications
- Direct and guide patient care and teaching activities
- Maintain relevant and accurate patient records
- Perform role of charge nurse as required
- Represent hospital in the community and maintain confidentiality
Requirements of the RN - ICU- Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification
- Prior critical care experience required
- CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
- Preferred: BSN, CCRN, TCAR certifications
- Preferred experience in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring (ICU)
