Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,744 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit – Maryland

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. Travelers may work 4x12 schedules based on availability. Patient ratio is typically 1:2 in ICU; may be 1:4 when floating to IMC or 1:3 when managing downgraded patients. Floating to appropriate critical care areas and IMC required based on facility needs.

• Advanced critical care experience with IABP, CRRT, EVD, and Arctic Sun/cooling blanket management required
• Charting system: Cerner EMR
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Social Services
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome at the same rate

Requirements

• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required upon submission
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience required; 3 years preferred
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Neuro ICU and Surgical ICU experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• ATCAR or equivalent trauma education required (may complete facility-provided Maryland-approved trauma course)
• Passing score on Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment required before contract approval
• Demonstrated experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and cardiac/vasoactive drip titration
• Proficiency with specialized equipment: IABP, CRRT, EVD, Arctic Sun/cooling blanket management
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
