We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong critical care skills, the ability to manage high-acuity patients, and confidence in handling advanced ICU equipment and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide care for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as sepsis, ARF, DKA, cardiac events, and post-surgical cases
Interpret EKGs, ABGs, and cardiac rhythms
Manage and titrate critical care drips (pressors, sedation, antiarrhythmics, etc.)
Assist with advanced procedures including:
Ventilator management and weaning
CRRT (Prismaflex)
IABP, Impella, and other cardiac devices
Respond to rapid response and code blue situations
Float to PCU, MST, or other critical care units as needed
Patient Ratio: 1:1–2 (ICU), 1:3–4 (PCU)
Units Covered: ICU, CVICU, PCU (float required)
Beds: Multiple units under critical care service line
Charting System: Cerner
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
Night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
Weekend Requirement: 2 shifts per pay period
Floating: Required across ICU/PCU/MST units
On-Call: Possible (low census situations)
