Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,762 per week in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred 2.5 years of ICU experience License: CA RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to float to various departments Description: This is a float pool position, not unit-based. Registered Nurses will float to all critical care and intensive care units, emergency department, and post-anesthesia care unit. 1 schedule cycle (4 weeks) will be either day or night shift, but may switch to the opposite shift in another schedule cycle depending on needs. Submit all requests for time off at the time of offer. Requests sent after the contract is signed will not be considered. Complete references must accompany the submission. Patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends are typically 2 patients per nurse. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Daily patient care includes managing ventilated patients, monitoring vital signs and lab results, and administering medications. Experience in various critical care situations is preferred, such as medical/surgical, cardiac, and neuro. Must possess knowledge of managing arterial lines, chest tubes, and critical care protocols. Travel may be required within a specified distance to different departments or facilities. Upon assignment, you may be reassigned to a different department or unit if you meet the necessary job specifications. Any previous employment with similar facilities must be included in the employment history for a rehire eligibility check. Two references from the most recent employer are needed upon submission.
