Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,764 per week in Franklin, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Open Heart experience - CABG, Valve post-op, Impella, IABP, CRRT Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment Epic experience required Description: We are seeking 2 Registered Nurses with significant experience in Open Heart procedures. Targeted patient ratios are 1:2 for Critical Care and 1:3 for Intermediate level patients in the unit. Candidates must have the ability to read and interpret EKG strips. An Associate's Degree in Nursing or BSN is required. Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license. The role includes managing patients on vents, NIH monitoring, IV starts, ICP monitoring, and Conscious Sedation. Experience with CRRT is essential. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. This is a 16-bed ICU unit with a daily census of 24. Registered Nurses will care for a variety of patient diagnoses, including Diabetes, Respiratory illness, and Cardiovascular illnesses. Special procedures performed include cardiac surgeries and management of post-operative care. Knowledge of device management, including external ventricular drains and intra-aortic balloon pumps, is preferred. Float to other units may be required based on patient needs. Candidates must be comfortable floating to appropriate assignments within the facility.
