Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,770 per week in Nampa, ID

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have 1 year of experience in an ICU setting. Ability to be a good team player. Familiarity with titrating drips is required. Description: Department: ICU. Number of beds: 10. Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2. Common diagnoses and types of patients include heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, vented patients, GI bleeds, strokes, TPA, post codes, pneumonia, and post-surgical cases. Experience with CRRT is not required for travelers. Charge nurse does not take patients. Administrative support is available on site 24/7. Crisis nurse is also present 24/7. RT is available in the ICU 24/7. Common RT equipment includes vents, high flow, and BiPAP. RNs are required to read telemetry strips. Shifts are scheduled by the unit scheduler and can be grouped together. Weekend requirements are as needed, typically every other weekend. Holiday requirements will be based on staffing needs. No call or standby requirement is expected. RNs may float to related departments as needed to fulfill staffing requirements. Scrub color is flexible as long as it is clean and professional. There will be 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation depending on experience.
