Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week available. 2:1 patient ratio. Weekend coverage required with rotating on-call support. 13 to 26 week assignment options available.

Highlights:

• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting within a 12-bed intensive care unit
• Specialized focus on ventilator weaning, complex wound care, spinal cord injury, tracheostomy, and neurological patients
• Epic EMR charting system utilized
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and radiology
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as vent weaning, traumatic brain injury, CVA, and spinal cord injury
• Float opportunities to med-surg unit (1:5 ratio) as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Neurological patient care experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year experience with Epic EMR required
• LTAC experience strongly preferred
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Competency with ventilator management, complex patient diagnoses, and critical care procedures
