Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,805 per week in Columbia, SC

Schedule: Night shift in LTACH ICU setting, 36 or 48 hours per week available. Patient ratio of 2:1. Contract options of 13 to 26 weeks. Float coverage to Med Surg units at 1:5 ratio as needed. Weekend coverage required with rotating call support.

Highlights:

• Long-term acute care ICU specializing in ventilator weaning, complex wound care, spinal cord injury, and trach/PEG management
• 12-bed ICU unit supporting adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of 35
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and radiology
• Neuro-focused critical care experience strongly preferred with stroke scale assessment and traumatic brain injury management
• Reimbursement available for up to 16 hours of pre-assignment modules and orientation support
• Opportunity to care for medically complex patients requiring advanced interventions including ventilator management, IV vasopressors, and continuous sedation

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Neurological critical care experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• LTACH experience strongly preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel assignment
